Managing Completed Dockets, Laybys and Quotes

Once you have finished processing a docket, layby or quote, you can save the order for further processing later, or you can print or finalise the order. These options are available under the FILE menu on the Enter Transaction screen.

Complete the docket, layby or quote by performing one of the following actions:

• save the order as a POS order for later changes - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Hold Docket"
• save the order as a POS order and print it - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Hold Docket-Print"
• enter the final payment on an order and print the tax invoice - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Finalise Order"
• enter the initial or subsequent payments on an order and print the tax invoice - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Print Docket"
• process the initial payment on a layby and print a layby docket - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Print Layby"
• save a layby for which no initial payment has been made - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Hold Layby"
• save the order as a quote and print it for the customer - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Print Quote"
• cancel the order altogether - refer to "Enter Transaction - File - Delete".
